,44 ~. Beals read a speed letter from City Manager Neal-to~. Balzarini ,concerning a request from the City and County Park Sub-Committee of the S.M.Co. Regional Planning Committee to the èity Council concerning future park planning for Redwood City and suggested areas for county parks. It was suggested to~. Balzarini that he refer to the Fu- ture Park Land Acquisition Committee Report adopted by the Commission on March 3, 1965, and that specific mention be made of the property designated as UAcreage' bounded on the north by Edgewood Road, etc." as being property suitable for County acquisition or City and County participation. It was also suggested that the Redwood Shores project by the Leslie Company which would include open space, park and recreation facilities, in its development program could be mentioned. Chairman Beals mentioned the voluminous files that was accumulating to each commissioner and it was recommended request be made to the City Manager that each commission- er be furnished an attache case. (written 11-9-65). Chairman Beals cordially welcomed Mrs. Ann Gooding to the Commission and encouraged her complete participation in Commission activities. Commissioner Gooding complimented the staff on both the Stafford Park and children's playground at Community Park. Adjourned 9:55 p.m. Doris C.
