BEAUTIFICATION - report by P?iSCO Ba'lzarini: <br />Mr. Balzarini-advised that plans were in the hands of the <br />City Manager and that there is a possibility that a $500 <br />donation would be forthcoming to help defray costs of -the <br />proposed 228 Redwood Trees. Chairman Beals suggested that <br />additional landscaping might be inclúded in the plans be- <br />fore they are presented to the Council for approval. Chair- <br />man Beals asked if Mr. Balzarini had -any information on own- <br />erwhip of the pie shaped "island" at Whipple and Veterans <br />Blvd. which Mr. Beals had suggested for beaut,ification and <br />Mr. Balzarini reported that he had not. <br /> <br />AGENDA 3 - <br /> <br />HOOVER SCHOOL- (POOL): report by A.lfred Morton.. <br /> <br />. - <br /> <br />Mr. Morton reporte_d that Sta.te has had the plans but that <br />they ~ad not as yet been returned: that they could go to <br />bid as soon as received: that alternate bids are called <br />for both the standard pool and the L-shaped pool: that the <br />IIsufficient funds" question could not be answered until bids <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />were recei ved.
