Mr. Balz- <br />arini was asked to write the Gity Manager and request Traffæ <br />~ureau consideration of moving Madison Avenue sign~ (or add- <br />ing additional signs) nearer the Poli,ce Yough Club and swim- <br />ming pool buildings, as present signs are not too visible <br />to drivers to permit maxi~um protection to youngsters using <br />these facilities. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />AGENDA 5 - BAIRD PROPERTY REPORT.- Jack Stuart: <br />In the absence of Commissioner Stuart, Chairman Beals ad- <br />vised that plans had been w~ll developed by Mr. Ber~ard <br />Nobler I archi t_ect I and the Commission Committee and were' <br />about read,y for Commi.ssion, approval, with only mino.r details <br />yet to be ironed out. Mr-. B,eals asked Mr. ,Nobler for his <br />report. Mr. Nobler introduced for discussion:~ electrical <br />work (wiring for p~lic address system to be inGluded but <br />not equipment for- system); kitchen equipment - blac~ enamel <br />stove versus stainless steel stove (black enamel one est- <br />imated to cost $500 less): landscaping - request of Committee <br />to delete from project b~ds so that work could be handled <br />by ~or througn Park Dept. <br /> <br /> <br />Following discus.sion, the following conclusions were reached: <br />That separate bids bids be received on kitchen equipment <br />from kitchen supply houses in order to effect a saving of <br />monies, with probable interest of Fun After Fifty Club in <br />providing funds for equipment such as stove, dishwasher, <br />refrigerator, etc.; , <br />That R. C.
