Mr. Ullrich stated that the portion of the block in- <br />volved belonged - to the Downtown"'park District Assessment District <br />and 'that the City_is purchasing it on a "lease purchasell option aY"'r- <br />angement for $100,000 at $20,000 per year to redeem the bonds. Some <br />of -the undeveloped bloëk area ,is owned-by private parties. Mrs. <br />Travers had suggested area for a park area. <br /> <br />n- <br />¡ <br /> <br />10 - GOLF - COURSE,S - Chairman Beals noted that planned - golf facili- <br />ties :co~~ Bai-!: Island were perhaps 10 - years away. - Commissioner Knecht <br />said that some consideration was being-given to golf courses on San <br />Francisco County Water Department property east of Canada Road and <br />nori:h of Edgewood Road but tha"f:' plan lines l1ac1 not been set for the <br />Junipero Serra freeway and so discussions could not be completed at <br />this time. <br /> <br />Chairmàn Beals thanked M~. Winans for his preliminary report and <br />discussion of its various aspects and others p'~esented du~ing thé- <br />auestion pe::-iod. Mr. winans again thanl<:ed the Citizens Survey <br />Committee and Commission and other City Departments for their co- <br />operation and advised that his final report 'would be forthcoming <br />in August. - <br /> <br />On MOTION by Commissioner Stuart, seconded by Commissioner Thomp- <br />son, ~IT.
