Memorial' Park type park idea has been-suggested. <br />PROPERTY ADJACENT TO YMCA BUILDING - property zoned for apartments, <br />cost may be prohibitive for City; suggestion made by Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />. h -. . <br /> <br />Stuart that 1f YMCA had plans for expanslon that thelr purchase of <br />thi s property could accompl ish same end. -. . <br /> <br /> <br />4 - CANYON ROAD NEIGHBORHOOD - Use of Hetch Hetchy property in this <br />area would require careful planning¡ turfing would have high maint- <br />enance costs; low maintenance shrubbery possibly could be considered <br />use of Hetch Hetchy strip might not be best property possible but <br />possibly some good usage could be achieved. <br /> <br />5 - ELKS CLUB GOLF CouRSE - is a "public" asset but not public re- <br />creation space - don't discount private enterprises although-being <br />a fraternal enterprise it could eventually be used for other pur- <br />poses or even sold. <br /> <br />6 - FRIENDLY ACRES INDUSTRIAL ZONED AREA -Could city re-zone? <br />
