Mr. Yoshida was complimented on <br />his ideas and sketches for beautifying areas at the Marina. Comm- <br />ission suggestions: that cement with exposed aggregates be consid- <br />ered in lieu of suggested macadam for base at picnic area (cement <br />more durable and inviting looking): some sort of divider (plants <br />or planter) to separate parking area and access road from picnic <br />area-not high enough to block views from other parts of Marina: <br />a llboard walk" walkway around perimeter of Marina at waters edge. <br />Chairman Beals appointed Ann Gooding as chairman and Jasper Sipes <br />to work with Mr. Yoshida, and Mr. Balzarini and Mr. Morton, and <br />bring in a report at the October meeting. <br /> <br />AGENDA 9 - "Rules and Regulations for Stulsaft Park II ; Chairman <br />Beals appointed Doris Thompson as chairman and Commissioners Knecht <br />and Whitmore as a committee to work on suggested rules and report <br />back at October meeting. <br /> <br />agenda 10 - "CREEK COVERING COMMUNITY PARK": <br />Chairman Beals stated that City had bid to realign, straight- <br />en and gunite creek for $79,000 and that he had been advised that <br />it would cost an additional $100,000 to box and cover the entire <br />creek.
