It was also noted that the Master Plan for Community Park
which had been accepted by the Council showed creek as being cov-
ered.

On MOTION of Jack Stuart, seconded by Ann Gooding, and passed, the
commdssion voted to again recommend to Council that the creek
through Community Park be covered, over its entire length, and
that no consideration be given to straightening and gunitingJ
straightening only-with earthen sides; fencing, open abutments:
ditches or bridges, as any other method substituted for complete
covering would not be acceptable to the Commission and not in the
best interests of the City~ (9-15-66)

COMMENTS FROM COMMISSIONERS, RECREATION DIRECTOR AND PARK SUPER-
TENDENT, ON OLD OR NEW BUS INESS :

SUPT.
