~._- 102 COMMISSIONER STUART: Displayed aerial maps and other maps of pro- perty in vicinity of Canyon Road, Breeze Place, Bain-Place, Glen- wood Ave., Oak Knoll Drive (in city limits) having good size flat area of about 5~ acres (total acreage around 16 acres): trees 30 to 50' high 1 a Hetch Hetchy ingress which could be used for park- ing7 and suggested that area could become a natural type park sim- ilarto Stulsaft with picnic areas, .etc. On motion of Commissioner Stuart, seconded by Commissioner Thomp- son, it was voted to recommend to Council that-City investigate for possible acquisition for park lands and institute a holding action for the entire area for future park usage. Passed (9-19-66) Mr. MOrton took names of commissioners who would be attending the Calif. Park & Recreation Society, Div. LV, barbecue at Heddart Park on Sept. 15th.
