Agenda 3 - C. P. R. Conference in Fresno' on Feb. 25th-March 1st: Four commissioners said they would attend, and two gave tentative yeses. Chairman Beals a'sked commissioners to finalize wi th Mr. MOrton as soon as possible. Agenda 4 - Re: Name for Broadway-Arch-Brewster parkway - Alvn Beals: By MOTION of Commissioner James Knecht, seconQed by Commissioner Ann Gooding, it was voted to recommend to the Council that the IIBroadw'ay-Arch-"Brewster" parkway be named IIGRANGER PARKWAyl~. Carried unanimously. (1-12-67) Agenda 5 - Roundtable - discussion on old or new business by Commissioners, ~irector of Rec~eation & Park,Su~: COMMŒSSIONER SIPES - suggested a walkway all around Stulsaft Park - rest stops every 100 yards or so, and tree names on plaques-as an additional activity for the park. Chairman Beals noted IImaster plan II developed about 12 years ago and suggested Mr. Sipes review and see how walkway would effect. Mrs. Thompson said idea could tie in with arboretus proposal at the December meeting. COMMISSIONER GOODING - asked why ,parking lines were so long at , new building - stating that it was 'necessary to drive off pavement to avoid parking lines. Mr. Stuart will check. Mrs. Gooding inquired if II serve- through II door of kitchen was sound-proof and was advised that it was not. Mrs. Gooding asked if the rules and regulations for the new building had been approved and was advised by Chairman Beals that no answer 'had been received.
