Balzarini - <br />dated June 4, 1968, received by secretary. It was suggested that <br />each commissioner be provided with copies of this information. r <br />Mr. Morton will provide. <br /> <br />seconded by Commissioner <br />was accepted with regret and <br />of congratulations and best <br /> <br /> <br />Chairman Stuart advised that Council was meeting on budget re- <br />quests tonight but it was felt that it would not be discussion <br />Park & Recreation fund~ at this meeting. <br /> <br />PERSONAL APPEARANCES --Chairman Stuart welcomed the students from <br />Woodside and Sequoia High. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />AGEND~ ¡ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND/OR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Chairman Stuart welcomed new commissioner, Mrs. Artie Ree Morgan, <br />Mrs. Morgan was presented with a briefcase and graciously acknow- <br />ledged that she is on the commission to help serve the people, <br />not to be served, and 'expressed the wish that she could help make <br />Redwood City a better place to stay. <br /> <br />1 - CANYON ROAD - CONTINUE DISCUSSION - HOWARD ULLRICH: <br />rich was unable to attend meeting. - <br /> <br />Mr. Ull- <br /> <br />2 - TAHOE PROPOSAL - HOWARD ULLIRBH: Chairman Stuart- said he <br />had visited property-and described location and terrain. Secre- <br />tary Thompson referred to May 1st minutes re commission recommend- <br />ation to Council. <br /> <br />3 - BUDGET MEETING - DATE WITH DORIS THOMPSON, DIRECTOR OF REC- <br />REATION AND PARK SUPERINTENDENT: <br />a. 1969-70: Mrs. Thompson said' that initial meeting has beeD <br />set for Monday, August 26th at 9:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial <br />Building. Commissioners Whitmore and Knecht will advise her <br />if they can participate in máeting. <br />b. 1968-69: Hearing: Council is meeting on budget requests <br />for 68-69 but are not expected to discuss park and recreation <br />requests at this meeting. <br /> <br />4 - REPORT PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING - JAMES KNECHT - re: <br />Shores: Commissioner Knecht said he had attended one meeting <br />at which no action could be taken because of lack of a' quorum ~ <br />and had been unable to attend following meeting. Secretary <br />Thompson noted availability of tapes of meetings. <br /> <br /> <br />
