Secre- tary Thompson referred to May 1st minutes re commission recommend- ation to Council. 3 - BUDGET MEETING - DATE WITH DORIS THOMPSON, DIRECTOR OF REC- REATION AND PARK SUPERINTENDENT: a. 1969-70: Mrs. Thompson said' that initial meeting has beeD set for Monday, August 26th at 9:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Building. Commissioners Whitmore and Knecht will advise her if they can participate in máeting. b. 1968-69: Hearing: Council is meeting on budget requests for 68-69 but are not expected to discuss park and recreation requests at this meeting. 4 - REPORT PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING - JAMES KNECHT - re: Shores: Commissioner Knecht said he had attended one meeting at which no action could be taken because of lack of a' quorum ~ and had been unable to attend following meeting. Secretary Thompson noted availability of tapes of meetings.
