Passed. Secretary will advise Tribune and City <br />Officials. <br /> <br />10 - ROUNDTABLE - DISCUSSION ON OLD OR NEW BUSINESS BY COMMISS- <br />IONERS, DIRECTOR OF RECRFATION, PARK. SUPERINTENDENT: , <br />commdssioner Knecht complimented Commissioner Thompson on.the. 4 <br />dedication ceremonies for the Catherine Brennan Rose Garden; <br />asked about installing a higher fence at Mitchell field, poss- <br />ibly 51, in order to keep balls from going into the creek. (Mr. <br />Morton will check); asked if permission can be secured to drive <br />a car to picnic areas in Stulsaft Park. (Mr. 'Balzarini advised <br />that permits can be secured for this purpose); and suggested the <br />urgent need for more rest rooms near the picnic areas in Stulsa~ <br />Park. Mr. Balzarini explained that he had requested funds to <br />complete such a project-a year ago but no action had been taken. <br />He further explained that a "Super Securll unit (facility build- <br />ing or ushell") had been purchased a year ago for the rest room <br />but had been unable to complete project before end of budget <br />period due to manpower shortage - sewer and water lines, cement <br />foundation, etc. ,-and that the needed funds had not been carried <br />over to"" the following budget as' requested nor cetherwise. provid- <br />ed in the 67-68 budget. . <br /> <br /> <br />On motion of Commissioner MOrgan, seconded by Commissioner: Whit-, <br />more, it was voted to recommend that $3,900 be included in the <br />68-69 budget so that. the urgently needed and additional rest ~ <br />room could be installed in Stulsaft Park.
