On motion of Commissioner Thompson, it was voted to recommend to Council that, in concurring with concerned parents over sit- uations which sometimes exist in Stulsaft Park, dogs, on leash, be permitted in Stulsaft Park but that the uNo Dog" rule be maintained in other city parks, seconded by Commissioner Knecht being noted absent. 3 - MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE (COMMUNITY) PARK REPORT -B. Whitmore: Commissioner Whitmore presented suggestions from committee which included: a main park entrance on-Roosevelt Ave., north of gymnasium building, perimeter parking area from Roosevelt Avenue thru to Myrtle Street-a IItwo-way street" with divider down center and landscaping-on propertY1 a suggestion for a high activity area-football, soccer, on open turfed area; that staff and engineering department assist committee on recommen- dations. Discussion included reference to minutes of ,suggested total development and enlargement orderly and rapid completion, and securing landscape architect and park planners.
