The commissioners complimented the <br />Recreation Department on its report and suggested that this inform- <br />ation be sent to the Tribune. It was noted that R.C. Kiwanis Club <br />would probably provide additional monies for worthy youngsters for <br />lessons, tickets, etc., for next year. <br /> <br />2 - BUDGET CO~TTEE - Report. Commissioner ¡Thompson, chairman: <br />Mrs. Thompson gave progress report and told of meeting of Oct. 28th <br />when discussion included need of getting funds to develop perimeter <br />parking on Dickey Street; hiring of park planner and up-dating Comm- <br />unity Park and for working in Redwood Shores planning; Police Youth <br />Club addition which is starting next month and possible new location <br />for barbeque shelter - suggestion being to area between gym and <br />tennis courts; conc~rn of parks and recreation plans; turf bank at <br />Community to help clean-up unplanted areas temporarily and which <br />could be used in other part of city when needed, at a later date; <br />completing of Community Park: restrooms and picnic areas at -Stulsaft. <br /> <br />3 - FEE SCHEDULE CHANGE.
