FXS:me-1 10/28/92 (074/29) <br /> before making any changes and additions, shall make an express <br /> finding that such changes and additions are reasonably necessary; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . In connection with the adoption of that certain <br /> ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Article II of Chapter <br /> 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; Adding Article II of <br /> Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City Relating to <br /> Fire Prevention; and Adopting by Reference the 'Uniform Fire <br /> Code, 1991 Edition' as Published by the International Conference <br /> of Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association" , <br /> it is hereby expressly found and determined that modifications, <br /> deletions and additions made to the aforesaid Fire Code as set <br /> forth in the Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance Repealing Article <br /> II of Chapter 12 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; Adding <br /> Article II of Chapter 12 to the Code of the City of Redwood City <br /> Relating to Fire Prevention; and Adopting by Reference the <br /> "Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition" , as Published By The <br /> International Conference of Building Officials and The Western <br /> Fire Chiefs Association" are reasonably necessary to provide for <br /> a system of fire protection which will help to control the spread <br /> of fire and limit the threat of property and life from fire <br /> within the City and that modifications or changes are reasonably <br /> necessary because of local climatic, geological or topographical <br /> conditions as fully set forth in the Finding of Facts filed <br /> herewith. <br /> 2 11883 <br />
