Commis~ioner Thompson noted that at the May meeting she had been appo~nteq to" serve with Commissioner Stuart on a comm~ ittee to investigate ~ree ordinances relative to the cutting of trees within the city on either public or private property which could require prior city approval, particularly ordi~ nance.s from the c.i ties of San Mateo and Palo Alto, and that she h~d recently noted in Planning Commission minutes 'of their interest in the subject and suggested .that' perhaps the Planning Commission was a more appropriate city body to investigate the matter 1 11 - CPRS bill for Annual Conunission dues - dated July 1'-, 1969. Commissioner Thompson moved to recommend that the Park Dept. authorize payment of conuniasion dues to CPRS, $50, for the- corning year, seconded by Commissioner Whitmore, and passed, Commissioners Stuart, Coffis and Schenck being noted absent.
