MOrton said he would like to go <br />into the schools this Fall and take a survey as to how many <br />would be interested' in such a team. Mrs. Thompson also been <br />asked by Mrs. Morgan to advise that she had had inquiry re es-. <br />tablishing a playground on property of the Woodside Methodist <br />Church and had suggested the procedure of getting on the agenda. <br /> <br />Commissioner stuart, seconded by Commissioner Whitmore, moved <br />that ~he reports of the Park and Recreation Departments be <br />accepted. Passed, Commissioners Coffis and MOrgan being noted, <br />absent. <br /> <br />Chairman Knecht complimented the Park Department on the out- <br />standing entry at the Fiesta and asked Commissioner Thompson <br />to read a resolution commending the department. <br /> <br />Commissioner Stuart, seconded by Commissioner Whitmore, moved <br />to adopt the resolution commending the department on the Fiesta <br />Garden, as amended, and ins'tructed the Secretary to mail copies <br />of the resolution to the Council, City Manager, and staff mem-. <br />bers involved, passed. Commissioners Coffis and MOrgan were <br />noted absent. <br /> <br />Mr. Balzarini asked that copies be provided for staff personnel <br />files. <br /> <br />11 - NIGHT SWIMMING ACTIVITIES - Recr. Pools open seven days a week. Hoover usage has gone <br />up.
