<br />1. ~ ~l,. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MATEO COUNTY LIBRARY <br />JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY FOR THE PAYMENT OF <br />OPERATING COSTS OF SHARED FACILITIES <br /> <br />(FAIR OAKS BRANCH LIBRARY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Redwood. City and the County of San Mateo <br /> <br />entered into an agreement entitled "Common Use/Shared Facility License <br /> <br />Agreement," on June 6, 1995, for the remodeling, use, operation and <br /> <br />maintenance of the facilities known as the Fair Oaks Branch Library, Redwood <br /> <br />City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo ("County") has transferred its <br /> <br />financial obligation under the Common Use/Shared Facility License Agreement <br /> <br />to the San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Authority (the "Authority"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />entitled, "Agreement Between City of Redwood City and San Mateo County <br /> <br />Library Joint Powers Authority," for review and approval of the County's <br /> <br />assignment of its financial obligations to the Authority. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement Between City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Authority," by and between the <br /> <br />Reso-966 <br />F :/sh/sh/R edwood/Council <br />FXS:rg <br />08/02/00R <br /> <br />1 . <br />
