<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />FOR <br /> <br />DEPOSIT OF FEES FOR UTILITY UNDERGROUNDING <br /> <br />This agreement made and entered into this 1. q 1"'- day of October, 2000, by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />("City") and iScribe, Inc. ("iScribe"). <br /> <br />WiTNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Giampaoli Family Trust Partnership, loP., a California Limited <br /> <br />Partnership ("Owner") is the owner of the properties located at 1400-1480 Industrial <br /> <br />Road, Redwood City, California (collectively referred to as the "Premises"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, iScribe and Owner have entered into a long-term lease agreement <br /> <br />for the lease of the Premises; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Premises are significantly impacted by a large number of <br /> <br />overhead power lines over and about the Premises (collectively referred to as the <br /> <br />"Lines"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 18 of the Redwood City Municipal Code, certain <br /> <br />improvements made on private property require that overhead power lines located <br /> <br />above the property and in front of the property be placed underground; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, iScribe desires to undertake certain tenants improvements on the <br /> <br />Premises; and <br /> <br />Agmt-387b <br />f/sh/sh/RC/Council <br />FXS:rg <br />09/28/00: 1 0/18/00R <br /> <br />1 <br />
