<br />EXHIBIT -A- <br /> <br />Revised March 20, 2007 <br />March 19, 2007 <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br />Mr. Peter Vorametsanti <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> <br />RE: CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRIATION SERVICES <br />SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD INSTALLATION PROJECT <br />Red Morton Park <br />Beals Alliance PROJECT No. 280505 <br /> <br />Dear Peter: <br /> <br />beals alliance, sport division, is pleased to submit the following additional service to provide continued <br />construction administration services on the above-referenced project. This proposal shall remain in effect <br />for sixty (60) days. <br /> <br />The additional scope for the construction phase of the project shall address the following work: <br /> <br />1. Construction Phase (on-going) <br />a. Attend regular construction meetings with the contractor, design team, and City. Meeting <br />agendas and reports will be provided. <br />b. Coordination regarding turf quality control and contract compliance. <br />c. Regular observation and review as required, considering weather and construction <br />practice. Observation Reports will be provided. <br />d. RFI coordination and processing (Contractor is IGP). <br />e. Develop RPQ's and Change Order evaluations (Contractor is IGP). <br />f. Substitution request evaluation. <br />g. General administration and coordination. <br />h. Respond to City requests, including any design. <br />i. Complete a substantial completion walk through for each field (at separate times) and <br />generate a punch list for each field area. <br />j. Quality control testing for testing synthetic turf to verify it meets project specifications. <br /> <br />2. Project Close-out <br />a. Review record drawings for utilities. <br />b. Final walk through and punch list for our scope of work. <br />c. Warranty evaluation and M&O documentation for our scope of work. <br />d. Close project and organize electronic files, plans and construction binder. <br />e.
