<br />Agreement with Housing Association for the <br />Needy and Dispossessed, Inc. <br />Redwood Oaks <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br /> <br />PROGRAM SERVICES <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Assignment and Transfer of Agreement <br /> <br />Notwithstanding Paragraph 7 herein, this Agreement may be assigned by Contractor on <br />behalf of very low-income households (hereinafter called "Beneficiaries") provided that <br />very low income "Beneficiaries" shall assume all rights and obligations of the Contractor <br />hereunder, in form and content satisfactory to the City. Further, contractor agrees funds <br />hereunder are provided pursuant to 92.300 and is specifically a setaside of HOME funds <br />reserved for a Community Development Housing Organization (CHDO). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Rehabilitation <br /> <br />With funds provided under this Agreement, Contractor shall complete rehabilitation work <br />described below in the Budget and Contract Objectives on property located at 330-340 <br />Redwood Avenue. <br /> <br />Contractor shall use the funds provided hereunder for the advancement of programs <br />whjch provide housing and human services assistance to very low and lower income <br />residents of the City. Contractor shall coordjnate its activitjes with similar programs <br />conducted by the City or with other organizations which provide housing and supportive <br />services to Redwood City residents, and which are consistent with the Consolidated Plan <br />Objectives to be met during 2000-2001. Contractor shall collaborate with similar <br />programs in order to maximize these programs and services, and the City's financial <br />resources which are available to lower and very low income residents, <br />
