<br />27 <br /> <br /> <br />emotionally handicapped children. It was noted that the bulk of <br />students - possibly 75%, were from the unincorporated portion of <br />the school district. Mr. Ziganto made special note of residents <br />of and apartment house on Willow street as haveing 46, 7th and <br />8th graders. Joe plans to provide the same kind of map informa- <br />tion regarding Hoover students from K-l through K-6. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Mr. Ziganto was complimented on his presentation and Commissioner <br />Whitmore asked to use the maps for the- presentation to the county <br />manager. <br /> <br />Mr. Paulson asked if another interested student could be found <br />to pin-point recreation programs in city - it would be helpful <br />to the department to see where participation comes from and would <br />help determine, perhaps, scheduling in other areas. <br /> <br />It was suggested that Steve Brown take this request back to the <br />GAP students as another task they could undertake. <br /> <br />6 - CPRS CONFERENCE, Anaheim, February 28/March 4 - change of <br />delegate: <br /> <br />Delegates Knecht and Schenck stated they would attend. Commiss- <br />ioner Whitmore stated he would not be able to attend and that <br />Commissioner Morgan was going in hisp1ace. <br /> <br />7 - CPRS, DISTRICT IV, MEETING, Jan. 17 - Chrm. James Knecht: <br /> <br />Mr. Knecht told of meeting attended by himself and Commissioner <br />Stuart and their wives, and of the top Professional Award being <br />given to Alfred- Morton, and of Bill Paulson being elected vice <br />president of the group. Chairman Knecht complimented both men <br />for their accomplishments. <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson moved that l~tters of commendation be sent <br />to both Mr. Morton and Mr. Paulson for their accomplishments and <br />for the honor they brought to Redwood City, the Park & Recreation <br />Commission, and their department, seconded by Commissioner Coffis, <br />and passed, Commissioner stuart being noted absent. <br /> <br />8 - BRIZEE PROPERTY - See page 4. <br /> <br />9 - CANYON ROAD PROPERTY - See page 4 and 5 <br /> <br />10 - BUDGET SUB-COMMITTEE - Commissioner Doris C.
