<br />69 <br /> <br />14 - ~IC}~~~ l1bB~I~Nf\_n:Ã-1'Es>sg-e~s~ r~~.R°~~t~Ll~a~~d~c~ILe pll~nsL¡~ ~e~~c. - <br />Mr. Balzarini said that Council Marina Committee in process of <br />_approving plans for re-doing of part of landscaping equivalent <br />to that removed alc of restaurant facility project. <br /> <br />(Commissioner Schenck left meeting at 9:20 p.m.) <br /> <br /> <br />Considerable Commission concern' was expressed over non-representation <br />of the Commission in Marina matters. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson moved to request that the Commission be <br />permitted to review landscaping plans as being proposed by the <br />Council Marina Committee for the Marina as this facility is a <br />recreation area and under park and recreation staffs jurisdic- <br />tion for maintenance and supervision and rightfully a vital <br />interest of the Commission, seconded by Commissioner Stuart, and <br />passed, Commissioners Schenck and Morgan were not present. <br /> <br />Chairman Whitmore appointed Commissioner Schenck to represent <br />the Commission at meetings of the Council Marina Committee. <br /> <br />The Commissioners again expressed concern that apparently city <br />funds are being used to restore equivalent landscaped areas <br />removed due to the location of the Charley Brown Restaurant <br />facility -when it had understood that any landscaped areas lost <br />because of -the restaurant would be replaced by them at no cost <br />to the City.
