P~l~m:-~R~~9:efJ.!- ~!:Q9~e..~ s reI2Qr:t_: <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion included: That Commission had requested mini-park <br />be established at this site and petition signed by some 90 <br />names sent to City Mana¡er;subsequent checking of petition <br />indicated only 16 were property owners; that Commission had <br />determined a~sessment district not feasible after analyzing <br />signatures and so had proposed surface-lease property use; <br />that no additional information is available at this time on <br />the Commission proposal; that Mr. Morton emphasized need for <br />adequate personnel for Park Department before any more mini- <br />parks were established, that delegating of work to other City <br />departments by the Park Department had not worked too <br />satisfactorily and Park Department should have their own <br />personne!- do their work; that no funds are a~ailab1e in present <br />budget for this project so matter would have to be considered <br />for next year's budget; that Winans Report had noted need for <br />facilities in this part of City; that Park Department should <br />determine in advance the cost of installation as well as main- <br />tenance costs; that comrriunity support was needed on all pro- <br />jects of this type. <br /> <br />Commissioner.
