DES : dft 8/19/92 (045/31 ) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/31/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 11832 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE <br /> - 1992 , TO INCLUDE AN URBAN WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY <br /> PLAN; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING FILING THEREOF WITH <br /> STATE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. <br /> \ VD' , adopted August 31 , 1992 , this Council adopted the <br /> Redwood City Urban Water Management Plan Update - 1992 (the "Plan <br /> Update") in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Water <br /> Management Planning Act (Water Res . Code §10610 et seq. ; the "Act") ; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Water Code Section <br /> 10631 , an Urban Water Management Plan shall include an Urban Water <br /> Contingency Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Department of Community Development has prepared <br /> an Urban Water Shortage Contingency plan for inclusion in the Plan <br /> Update; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to the provisions of Water Code Section <br /> 10642 , the Urban Water Contingency Plan has been made available for <br /> public inspection and a duly noticed public hearing on the question <br /> of adoption thereof was held on August 31 , 1992 , at which time all <br /> persons present and interested in the matter were offered an <br /> opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Water Code Section 350 et seq. ; this <br /> Council , on May 23 , 1988 , adopted Ordinance No. 1968 entitled, <br /> "Ordinance Determining and Declaring Water Shortage Emergency, <br /> Establishing Regulations and Restrictions on the Delivery and <br /> Consumption of Water, and Establishing Penalties for Violations <br />
