Mr. Wallulis again indicated project plans, possible funding for materials~ volunteer labor, noted that this is a class project at Canada and as class ends in two weeks students were trying to esta- blish a file and would like correspondence which could be included::- that his appearance tonight was to inquire re progress of acquiring surface rights; asked to be advised when matter came before Council. Mr. Ullrich said meetings had been had with SF Water Department people,; who seemed receptive to the idea of surface rights for the total H/H r/ws through city; that he had. asked ~I:1gineering department to put- together an aerial mosaiac of the r/ws and attach sketch which should be ready 'in 2-3 weeks: has contadted County Assessor re what taxes SF pays on utility roll: that- City would have to assume weed abatement: that when this info is available that City can go ahead. d. This motion will permit pedestrian traffic through the park but' pro- hibit vehicular traffic behind the baseball diamonds between Dickey Street and the west boundary of the field near the Armory, except as necessary. Mr. Ullrich said he would instruct the street department to put these barricades in.
