It is recommended that $3,000 be budgeted- for. 1971-72 and the other $3,000 be budgeted for 1972-73 $3,000 NOT RECOMMENDED) The Commdttee feels request ~s not in line with present city fi~cal situation; it has been suggested that for $6,000 - 3 mini parks could be constructed; handball court built. behind gym, etc. . . 2 - T..en~~~_~'p~S_s- ~!_~_z~~P ].~..~a : (start of fundin~) $4 , 500 Due to continual cracking of these courts it is recommended that an entirely new base be constructed with a new resurfacing at a cost of $9,000". A new resurfacing Job can be done at a cost of $4¡ 500, but this would result in the same cracking of the courts after about three years. It is recommended that $4,500 be budgeted for 1971-72 and the balance of $4,500 be budgeted for 1912-73. , - 3 - R~~r:eatjo~ C~n~er - requested by Recreation Department: 2,200 (Gym) 1120 Roosevelt Avenue. Commissioner Rnecht moved to accept, as àmended, and subject to the addition of a supplementary request for funding to implement the Master Plan at Community Park, the recommendations of 'the Budget Sub-Committee, seconded by Commissioner Thompson, and passed.
