Other - none <br /> <br />8J u 11 <br /> <br />20 - RECREATION DEPARTMENT - Director Alfred Morton <br /> <br />- _.b..- -~ ~ - 4:0. ~ III b..- b.- - .------ <br /> <br />a. ~q~v~~-~~oJ~~~a~ - Mr. Morton told that vandals had dumped several <br />bags. of soda ash; 3 motors, etc. into Hoover Pool (about three weeks <br />ago) and that damage cost cannot be determined for another 8/10 days <br />pending cleaning of clogged drain, etc. <br /> <br />Considerable discussion was had on this latest act of vandalism and the <br />Commission~rs expressed their concern that there had been no newspaper <br />publicity on the vandalism; suggestions made to combat such vanda1ism,etc <br /> <br />commissioner Schenck moved to recommend to the City Manager that he <br />direct staff to remove the slat fencing surrounding the pool area so <br />that any unlawful activity could be clearly visible from the outside, <br />seconded by Commissioner Thompson, and passed. <br /> <br />b. lMoE~~ly r~p~~t - to be mailed later. <br /> <br />c.
