Letter. of resignation from Commissioner Jack Stuart, effective <br />as of May 31st. Mr. Stuart-indicated that similar letter had been <br />sent to Mayor Robert H. Bury. Pressure of business and personal <br />obligations were cite-d as reasons for resigning from the Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Knecht moved to accept Mr. Stuart's resignation, with <br />regrets,' and asked that a 'letter be written expressing the Conunissm n' s <br />thanks for Mr. Stuart's six years of service to the conunission and the <br />hope that he would assist in fut~e projects ~ serving on citizens' <br />committees, seconded by Commissioner Schenck, and passed. <br /> <br />2. Request from New Shakespeare Company for use of city facilities <br />during June. Copies were sent to commissioners.
