<br />City of Redwood City <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Scope <br />Blomquist Street Extension <br /> <br />1 .00 PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />1.01 Mobilization. Upon receipt of Notice to Proceed, the Project Manager and key team staff <br />will attend kick-off meeting to begin coordinating with the City of Redwood City (City), utility <br />owners and other agencies. <br /> <br />1.02 Develop project schedule and budget plans. The Project Manager will prepare a project <br />schedule and work breakdown structure to track progress, monitor expenditures, and trend any <br />deviations from the initial plan. <br /> <br />1.03 Review Environmental Impact Report's clearance and mitigations requirements. <br />Manna will review available environmental reports and make agency contacts to verify status of <br />agency clearance. Manna will document and distribute records of these contacts. Any mitigation <br />requirements will be made part of the plans and specifications. <br /> <br />1.04 Conduct technical coordination meetings. Technical meetings will be held on a regular <br />basis during the project. with City technical staff, and with design team for internal coordination. . <br />The Project Manager will be responsible for holding internal team meetings every two weeks at a <br />minimum, and more frequently if appropriate. <br /> <br />1.05 Prepare monthly invoices and monthly progress reports. Monthly invoices will be <br />submitted with each Monthly Progress Report. This will include a listing of tasks accomplished <br />during the period, anticipated tasks to be accomp1ished during the following period, and any <br />outstanding design issues requiring resolution. Potential impacts to the schedule and budget will be <br />identified and recommendations to address these impacts will be provided <br /> <br />1.06 Bi-weekly technical progress reports. Bi-weekly technical progress reports will be <br />prepared by task or discipline leaders and submitted to the Project Manager. These reports follow <br />the basic fonnat of the Monthly Progress Reports, outlining tasks accomplished, anticipated work <br />for the following period, and outstanding issues/data required to continue the work in accordance <br />with Project's schedule. <br /> <br />1.07 Maintain project fIles. Manna will maintain up-to-date and complete project files. All <br />coITespondence by and between City, Manna, and other project parties will be recorded in a <br />document control system. Project communications and records such as meeting minutes, telephone <br />record logs, incoming/outgoing coITespondence, and all deliverables will be similarly logged and <br />filed. <br /> <br />Requests for Infonnation, Utility Status and Drawing Status listings will be maintained These logs <br />will be updated and distributed as needed. <br /> <br />1.08 QA/QC. Manna will submit to the City for review/comment a Quality Plan within one week <br />of Notice To Proceed. The Quality Plan will include milestone technical revie-ws, and procedures <br />for checking design calculations and drawings. <br />11/06/00 MANNA CONSULTANTS, INc <br />
