<br />PARTIES PROVISION OF FUNDING, FACILITIES, AND SERVICES <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />A. Each of the Parties shall contribute the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) <br />annually to support the work of the Redwood City 2000 program. The parties <br /> <br />acknowledge that they have deposited said amount for the fiscal year July 1, 2000 - June <br /> <br />30,2001. <br />B. City is authorized to receive money on behalf of Redwood City 2000 and deposit same <br /> <br />into a special deposit account in the City's General Fund. The money received on behalf <br />of Redwood City 2000 shall be disbursed as requested by the Redwood City 2000 <br /> <br />Executive Director in writing, subject to administrative procedures of City. <br />C. At no time shall the City be under any obligation to disburse money to Redwood City <br />2000 in excess of the amount on deposit. The Committee acknowledges that money <br />received by the City will not be available for disbursement for three (3) business days <br />after the funds have been deposited by City, or for a longer period, as deemed appropriate <br /> <br />by City's Finance Director. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />HOLD HARMLESS. Each party hereto ("indemnitor") hereby agrees to defend, indemnity, <br />and save harmless each other party and its respective governing board, council, officers, <br /> <br />boards commissions, agents, and employees (collectively, "Indemnitees") against and from <br />any and all claims, suits, actions of every name, kind and description, which may be brought <br /> <br />against indernnitees, or any of them, by reason of any injury to, or death of, any person <br />(including corporations, partnerships and associations) or damage suffered or sustained by <br />any such person arising from, or alleged to have arisen from, any act or omission to act, <br />negligent or otherwise, of indemnitees, its officers, agents or employees under this <br /> <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />ACTS AND OMISSIONS OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br /> <br />The acts and omissions of the Executive Director and Civic Engagement and Leadership <br />Coordinator or any other employees, agents or volunteers acting on behalf of the Redwood <br />City 2000 program shall not in any way be construed as the acts and omissions of the City but <br />shall be deemed as the acts and omissions of the Parties acting jointly. <br /> <br />3 <br />
