<br />2. <br /> <br />TERM. This agreemellt shall be binding on the Parties upon eA..:cution of this Agreement by <br />all Parties. This agreement shall be effective July 1, 2000 and shall continue in effect through <br />June 30, 2001. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />TERMINATION. Any party may withdraw from this Agreement by giving the other Parties <br />sixty (60) days prior written notice. The rights and obligations of the terminating party expire <br /> <br />sixty (60) days after notice is given; provided that any monetary obligations outstanding upon <br />the expiration date shall survive until discharged. . <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />STRUCTURE OF REDWOOD CITY 2000 <br /> <br />The Redwood City 2000 Operations Committee is hereby established and shall be composed <br />of senior staff from each of the funding partners of Redwood City 2000 - City of Redwood <br />City, San Mateo County, Redwood City School District and Sequoia Union High School <br /> <br />District, and a member of the Community Action Network. The Redwood City 2000 <br />Coordinating Council is hereby established and shall be composed of one representative from <br />each of the funding partner's governing Boards (and one alternate member from each of these <br />boards), the members of the Operations Committee and non-elected community member. The <br /> <br />Operations Committee and the Coordinating Council shall follow the structure described in <br />Exhibit A. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY 2000 STAFF <br /> <br />It is understood that Redwood City 2000 will require the services of an Executive Director <br />and related support staff. Staff will provide services for the Redwood City 2000 program. <br />The City of Redwood City will serve as fiscal agent for the employees and related expenses. <br />A. The Operations Committee will designate the City to contract for the Executive Director, <br /> <br />Civic Engagement and Leadership Coordinator, a halftime employed (0.5 FTE) <br />Administrative Clerk, and necessary staff on behalf of the Committee. <br /> <br />B. The County, Elementary School District and High School District each shall transfer to <br />City initial contributions in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) each, <br />within sixty (60) days of the date of execution of this Agreement. <br /> <br />2 <br />
