<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE <br /> <br />The Operations Committee (composed of senior staff from each of the funding partners of <br />Redwood City 2000 (RC 2000) - City of Redwood City, San Mateo County, Redwood City School <br /> <br />District and Sequoia Union High School District, and a member of the Community Action Network) <br />will meet monthly and work by consensus to assist the RC 2000 Executive Director to develop <br />recommendations to be presented to the Coordinating Council. <br /> <br />The Operations Committee will take proposals that meet the following criteria to the Coordinating <br />Council: <br /> <br />The project connects with RC 2000 vision and partner agency goals. <br />A. The project requires member agency resources (money, people, facilities, time). <br />B. The project has a broad impact. <br />C. The Operations Committee has revi~wed the proposal and prepared a presentation for the <br />Coordinating Council. <br />In addition the Operations Committee will: <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Recruit and hire and/or contract for an Executive Director, Civic Engagement and Leadership <br />Coordinator and .5FTE Administrative Clerk <br /> <br />E. <br />F. <br /> <br />Supervise the Executive Director <br />Develop operating agreements for approval by the Coordinating Council <br />Oversee the implementation of Redwood City 2000's Civic Engagement and Leader and <br />Leadership Development strategy , <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />Develop standards and criteria for the work completed by Redwood City 2000 for approval by <br />the Coordinating Council <br />Develop annual budget for approval by Coordinating Council <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The Coordinating Council, composed of one representative from each of the funding partner's <br />governing Boards (and one alternate member from each of these boards), the members of the <br /> <br />Operations Committee and non-elected community member, will meet quarterly to: <br /> <br />5 <br />
