<br />A. <br />B. <br /> <br />Monitor RC 2000 activities <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Consider recommendations regarding new projects and/or taking existing projects to scale <br />Develop recommendations to take back to their respective governing bodies relating to <br /> <br />allocation of resources <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Serve as the decision making body for RC 2000, using a consensus model of decision making <br /> <br />Implementing Task Forces will be identified to work on community wide projects that have been <br />approved by the Coordinating Council. Implementation Task Forces will provide information about <br />the status of projects to the Operations Committee which will in turn communicate regularly with the <br /> <br />Coordinating Council so that all are receiving a constant flow of information about Redwood City <br />2000 projects. <br /> <br />Community Action Network <br />Ideas for action by Redwood City 2000 can come from a wide variety of sources which together <br />make up the Community Action Network. Redwood City 2000 will provide staff support to groups <br />organized within the Community Action Network and facilitate the on-going development of <br /> <br />community improvement projects utilizing a dynamic civic engagement through dialogue strategy. <br /> <br />Project Staff <br />Redwood City 2000 will be supported by an Executive Director and a Civic Engagement and <br />Leadership Coordinator, who will work with the parties and other members of the Redwood City <br />2000 Community Action Network Council as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Facilitate communication and skill building between local collaboratives, coalitions and task <br />forces and community volunteer team; <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Facilitate strategic planning processes through the provision of staff support to the Community <br />Action Network; <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Synthesize community organization strategies including organizing focus groups, surveys, <br />needs assessments and town hall meetings; <br />Assist in developing collaborative grant applications. <br />Implement civic engagement and leadership development strategies <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />6 <br />
