DES : djk 08/06/92 (099/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 8/17/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11814 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF SELECTED <br /> MATERIALS SAND , AGGREGATE AND FINES , FISCAL YEAR <br /> 1992-1993 ; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Resolution No. 11764 , adopted June 22 , <br /> 1992 , the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase of <br /> selected materials - sand, aggregate and fines for public work <br /> projects in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said advertisement , one bid was <br /> received for the furnishing of said materials and filed with the <br /> City Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS , R. S . Maltoni Trucking Company of Redwood City, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br /> bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The bid of R. S . Maltoni Trucking Company, in the amount <br /> of Thirty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-seven and 70/100 <br /> Dollars ($37 , 727 . 70) , computed in accordance with said bidder' s <br /> proposal dated July 29 , 1992 , and in accordance with the Contract <br /> Documents and Specifications therefor on file with the <br /> Department of General Services , is hereby accepted and said <br /> bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> bidder for the furnishing of said materials . <br />
