IT_- l 1 11 I . ~ 1 l T TV <br /> <br />The firm selected for the master plan for Stulsaft Park was announced as Theodore <br />Osmundson and Associates. It was thought plans can be completed in three or four <br />months and included in the capital improvements program for fiscal year 1973-74. <br /> <br />2. BETCH-HETCIIY DEVELOPMENT. STAFF: HI. Mr. Weeks thought they would have a "fi11- <br />in" role with the Center staff calling on the City occasiona11y~ but that it would <br />operate independently involving their people. <br /> <br />4. ~ORTH~Y REPOR!§ - -_RECREATION lEP~R!: The report was accep ted by mot ion of Frank <br />Guida, seconded by Joanne Weintraub; carried. Mr. Guida witnessed the people working <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />at bringing up the old floor at the Red Morton Community Park Recreation Center and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />commended their tenacity. Mr. Weeks will draft a letter of commendation to these <br />San Mateo County probationers as well as to our staff for Chairman Schenck to sign. <br /> <br />PARK~REP~R1: Frank Guida motioned acceptance, seconded by William Warren; carried. <br />Mr. Guida said Veterans Blvd. median between the freeway off-ramp and Convention Way <br />looks very good but others need attention. <br /> <br />ROUND TABLE: <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />~ . ~ <br /> <br />Joanne Weintraub said 'signs in our parks need review. She sugg~8ted that there is <br />need for intensive work shop and round table discussions with the Commissioners, City <br /> <br />+ . <br /> <br />"Manager and Councilmen to share ideas and develop creative programs. This could be <br />accomplished on tour days. <br /> <br /><I <br /> <br />Mr. Knecht indicated that the tours of the park areas should be held often. Chairman <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Schenck would like to set them up on quarterly basis with May 5 the date for the next <br />tour. Tentative agenda for the day includes Redwood Shores and study and planning in <br />the afternoon.
