<br />- - - .. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Chairman Schenck discussed briefly the Council meeting and informed the <br />Commission that Councilman Norris compl~ented the Commission on the reorgani- <br />zation over this past year and the projects the Commissioners had undertaken. <br />He wanted the Commission to know that they had Mr. Norris' full support. <br /> <br />MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br /> <br />Vice Chairman introduced Mr. Morrissey and Mr. Flavio of the Fun After Fifty <br />Club. Mr. Morrissey gave a report on the Citizens Committee meeting of <br />January 8,1974 regarding the school closure study. Mr. Morrissey indicated <br />McKinley school seems to be the most favored for abandonment and there are <br />three public agencies which have entered informal bids to either lease or <br />buy the school. The Seniors are also interested in obtaining the school for <br />their Senior Center and requested the Commission's support. This matter was <br />held for further discussion at the February meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />It was moved by Commissioner Knecht, seconded by Commissioner Pound, <br />that the meeting adjourn. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Guida, Haynes, Knecht, Rollins, Pound, Schenck <br />and Weintraub. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Motion carried.
