'-14 The meeting adjourned to the Executive Session at 7:40 p.m. back to order at 8:10 p.m. The meeting was called APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion: Commissioner Rollins moved, seconded by Commissioner Knecht, that the minutes of the March Parks & Recreation Commission meeting be accepted with the following corrections: 1. Page 2, "Staff Present," - Pasco Balzarini is listed as attending and this should be deleted. 2. Page 6, "Matters from the Audience" - the first paragraph begins, "Mr. Helen Phillips..." and this should be changed to "Mrs. Helen Phillips. . . " 3. Commissioner Weintraub requested when ballots are split that the names of the Commissioners be listed with the way they vote. On page 3, paragraph 5, under the motion for approval for the addition of the Forty-Niner Building it should read: "Ayes: Two - Commissioners Rollins, Knecht Nays: Three - Commissioners Pound, Weintraub, Guida Abstains: One - Commissioner Schenck" On page 3, paragraph 7, under the motion for approval of the concept of the building addition with staff and the Forty-niner organization reviewing the contract, it should read: "Ayes: Five - Commissioners Pound, Rollins, Guida, Knecht, Schenck Nays: One - Commissioner Weintraub Abstains: None" CORRESPONDENCE 1. Youth in Government Day. Chairman Schenck encouraged all Commissioners, Department Heads, and staff to participate. 2. Public Forum of Future of San Francisco Bay 3. San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Minutes ,AGENDA ITEM 1 - Nominations Committee Report Commissioner Pound reported that at the Council Meeting of April 8 filling the Commission's vacancies was briefly discussed. As it was reported that members will be filling their position until they are replaced and as there is nothing stated in the ordinance to confirm this practice, Commissioner Pound recommended postponement of the election of new officers until all new appointments were made.
