<br /> <br />'-14 <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned to the Executive Session at 7:40 p.m. <br />back to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion: <br /> <br />Commissioner Rollins moved, seconded by Commissioner Knecht, that the <br />minutes of the March Parks & Recreation Commission meeting be accepted <br />with the following corrections: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Page 2, "Staff Present," - Pasco Balzarini is listed as attending <br />and this should be deleted. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Page 6, "Matters from the Audience" - the first paragraph begins, <br />"Mr. Helen Phillips..." and this should be changed to "Mrs. Helen <br />Phillips. . . " <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Commissioner Weintraub requested when ballots are split that the <br />names of the Commissioners be listed with the way they vote. On <br />page 3, paragraph 5, under the motion for approval for the addition <br />of the Forty-Niner Building it should read: <br /> <br />"Ayes: <br /> <br />Two - Commissioners Rollins, Knecht <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Three - Commissioners Pound, Weintraub, Guida <br /> <br />Abstains: <br /> <br />One - Commissioner Schenck" <br /> <br />On page 3, paragraph 7, under the motion for approval of the concept <br />of the building addition with staff and the Forty-niner organization <br />reviewing the contract, it should read: <br /> <br />"Ayes: <br /> <br />Five - Commissioners Pound, Rollins, Guida, Knecht, Schenck <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />One - Commissioner Weintraub <br /> <br />Abstains: <br /> <br />None" <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Youth in Government Day. Chairman Schenck encouraged all Commissioners, <br />Department Heads, and staff to participate. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Public Forum of Future of San Francisco Bay <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />San Mateo County Parks & Recreation Minutes <br /> <br />,AGENDA ITEM 1 - Nominations Committee Report <br /> <br />Commissioner Pound reported that at the Council Meeting of April 8 filling the <br />Commission's vacancies was briefly discussed.
