The motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br />and the meeting was adjourned at 11:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REDWOOD CITY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />June 12,1974 <br /> <br />The regular business meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission was called <br />to order by Chairman Guida at 7:45 p.m. in the Lobby Meeting Room (Room #1) <br />of the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Rollins, Pound, Guida, Weintraub, Schenck <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Knecht (Excused Absence) <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Director Max C. Weeks, Recreation Superintendent <br />Bill Paulson, Harbor Master John Mackenhausen, <br />Secretary Cheryl Pellicano <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />. :".~. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Rollins moved, seconded by Commissioner Schenck, to <br />approve the minutes with the following corrections: <br /> <br />Page 3, first MOtion, should read: <br /> <br />"It was moved by Commissioner Weintraub..." <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />Page 3, line 7 should read: <br /> <br />"Commissioner Weintraub expressed..." <br /> <br />.... L <br /> <br />Page 4, second paragraph: <br /> <br />Delete entire paragraph as stated and add: <br /> <br /> <br />"Requesting Mrs. Phillips to become a member of the Open Space <br />Committee was discussed. Mr. Weeks requested Commissioner <br />Knecht with the approval of Chairman Guida to approach Mrs. <br />Phillips to ascertain if she was interested in working with <br />the Open Space Committee. If so, a letter will be sent to <br />her by staff formally requesting her participation." <br /> <br />Page 4, Item 1, first paragraph should read: <br /> <br />"I..along with adding some suggestions for the new Chairperson, <br />Commissioner Weintraub." . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Page 7, Matters from the Audience, paragraph 2, second sentence <br />should read; <br /> <br />"These probably do not need a director." <br /> <br />
