<br />-~ ,~. ~':91 . <br /> <br />On the question, Commissioner Weintraub mentioned that the Commission was asked <br />for its opinion with regard to the PYC. and its opinion was not heeded. <br /> <br />Chairman Guida stated that if the program is curtailed to a great degree that <br />it will hurt the non-athlete. He concurred that it should be further explored. <br /> <br />Commissioner Schenck felt the staff, together with the staff of the School <br />District, should be given an opportunity to reevaluate the type of program <br />offered from which alternatives can be constructed. <br /> <br /> <br />As there was no further discussion, Chairman Guida called for a vote. <br /> <br />The motion carried unan~ously by voice vote. <br /> <br />Chairman Guida left the meeting at 10:30 p.m. and turned the Chair over to <br />Vice Chairperson Weintraub. <br /> <br />ROUND TABLE <br /> <br />Commissioner Pound mentioned that the San Mateo County Parks & Recreation <br />agenda spoke of a motorcycle committee. She requested Commissioner Rollins <br />secure a copy of that report if possible and any further information available. <br /> <br />The status of the PYC report was discussed. Bill Paulson reported that the <br />report was submitted to the PYC Board and copies were made for each Board <br />member. The PYC president appointed Herb Weiss and Bob Laberg to discuss <br />the report with the Department. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Schenck moved to adjourn the <br />meeting, seconded by Commissioner Pound. The motion carried unanimously by <br />voice vote and the meeting was adjourned at ll:25 p.m. <br /> <br />.
