<br />, <br /> <br />'to <br /> <br />REPORTS - Redwood Shores Committee <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />Commissioner Pound gave a verbal report and stated that the Committee has met <br />twice and also that two citizens have been selected to work on the Committee <br />(Dick Eastman and Marnie Huber). Four architects have been selected to be <br />interviewed and a scope-of-work has been developed. Representatives of Mobil <br />Oil Estates have been requested to serve on the Committee. The Mobil Oil <br />representative will also be requested to revi~w the master plan. It was also <br />indicated that the Homeowners Association will be conducting a general interest <br />survey at Redwood Shores within the next few weeks. <br /> <br /> <br />MOTION: Commissioner Schenck moved to approve the verbal report of the Redwood <br />Shores Committee, seconded by Commissioner Knecht. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously by'voice vote. <br /> <br />, REPORT ITEM 5 - Montqly Reports <br /> <br />A. ~artment MonthJ.y Rej>orts <br /> <br />Commissioner Pound commented that her children had attended the Wilderness <br />Camp program and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Commissioner Weintraub com- <br />mented that she had been one of the judges for the Wading Beauty & Muscle <br />Man contest. Before judging the contest, she felt that this type of con- <br />test should be eliminated, but afterwards she changed her mind. Both she <br />and Commissioner Pound agreed and suggested that the Judging Form should <br />be changed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Commissioner Schenck moved that the monthly reports be accepted, <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />seconded by Commissioner Pound. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />REPORT ITEM 6 - Committee Schedulin£ <br /> <br />Pro~ram Commit~ee - Chairman Rollins will contact Mr. Paulson and set up this <br />meeting via telephone. <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Committee - Meeting scheduled for August 27 at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />'W 1 <br /> <br />Red Morton Communi!y Park Committee - Meeting scheduled for August 27 at 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ROUND TABLE <br /> <br />The Commission congratulated Tom Ferrando on his recent appointment to Admini- <br />strative Assistant. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Schenck moved that a letter be WTitten to Mr. Lou Spadia <br />to thank him for the cooperative attitude the Forty -Niners displayed <br />during the negotiation of the new contract, seconded by Commissioner <br />Roll ins. <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Rollins asked staff when the McGarvey baseball diamond would be <br />moved.
