MATTERS FROM THE AUDIENCE = ,~- ~ "'. 4 5 A letter was sent to the Parks & Recreation Department from the Redwood City Aquatics Club requesting co-sponsorship consideration. A brief discussion followed and the matter was referred to the Operational Policies Committee for review and consideration at their next scheduled meeting. It was pointed out the staff would attempt to assist with the Club's ~ediate problems. ROUND TABLE Commissioner Rollins asked the status of Commission badges. Mr. Weeks men- tioned that Councilman Norris suggested the idea at one of the Council meetings but that it was not accepted. The Council suggested business cards and/or name tags. Business cards will be ordered for the Commissioners. Commissioner Schenck asked the status of the letter to Lou Spadia. Mr. Weeks indicated it would be in the mail shortly. MOTION: There being no further business, Commissioner Pound moved to adjourn the regular business meeting, seconded by Commissioner Roll ins. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote and the meeting adjourned at 10:15 p.m. MINUTES REDWOOD CITY PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION October 9,1974 The regular business meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission was called to order by Chairperson Weintraub at 7:40 p.m. in Meeting Room Number 1 at the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City.
