-
ð~¿:

REPORT ITEM 3 - Month].~ Re]?Qrts

~artmen tal Monthl1l. Report - Mr. Weeks mentioned tha t the app1ica tion for
a grant for the Senior Referral Service was approved at the City Council
meeti~g of December 9,1974.. Also, Community Park, second phase, has been
approved for calling for bids. If a contract is negotiated close to the
estimates for second phase development, there appears that there will be a
balance of funds available. If this is the case, hopefully there will be
sufficient funds available to immediately initiate the design of the third
phase of the park, thus expediting construction.

Mr. Weeks further indicated the Street Tree Study contract would be receiving
final review with the consultant on December 18,1974. He indicated there
are one or two items yet to be negotiated in the Public Works segment, and
that the Agreement would probably go to Council for approval January 6, 1975.

MOTION:

Commissioner Pound moved to accept the monthly departmental
reports as written, seconded by Commissioner Schenck.

The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.

Other4il_Reports - Commissioner Schenck reported that the Red Morton Community
Park Committee met December 9,1974 with regard to the park signs.
