<br /> <br />I , <br /> <br />Commissioner Schlesinger, in purusing the past minutes of the Commis$ion, <br />requested the present philosophy of the Commdssion regardi~g the purchas- <br />ing of mini parks. He indicated that it appeared the Commission previously <br />felt the purchase of mini parks was their goal and it now appeared that <br />the purchasing of larger areas was their goal. Mr. Weeks explained that <br />the emphasis has shifted to obtaining larger areas if possible. If larger <br />acreage cannot be obtained, the Commission would accept the smaller areas. <br />The objective is to deemphasize mini parks and emphasize neighborhood parks <br />for full service to residents.' <br /> <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Rollins moved to adjourn the <br />meeting, seconded by Commissioner Pound.
