<br />DES:djk 04/09/97 <br /> <br />(014/72) <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />Permittee shall ensure that all of Permittee's <br /> <br />active and reserve peace officers who visit or use the <br /> <br />Range <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Permit <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />comply with <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />Range safety rules established by City and all orders <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />authorized <br /> <br />employees, <br /> <br />officers, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />agents, while on the Range. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Permittee <br /> <br />shall clean up and dispose of all <br /> <br />ammunition and other materials used during Permittee's <br /> <br />occupancy <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Range <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Permit, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Fermi ttee shall leave the Range in at least the same <br /> <br />clean and safe condition as it was prior to usage by <br /> <br />Permittee. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Permittee <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />promptly report to City any <br /> <br />unusual <br /> <br />conditions <br /> <br />in, <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />occurrences <br /> <br />within, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Range. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />City and Permittee affirm that in all matters <br /> <br />relating <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Permit <br /> <br />they <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />equal <br /> <br />opportunity <br /> <br />employers, and shall comply with applicable regulations <br /> <br />governing equal employment opportunity. <br /> <br />Nei ther City <br /> <br />nor Permittee shall discriminate in the employment of <br /> <br />any person because of race, <br /> <br />religion, <br /> <br />color, <br /> <br />national <br /> <br />origin, <br /> <br />ancestry, <br /> <br />disability, <br /> <br />medical <br /> <br />condition, <br /> <br />marital status, <br /> <br />sex, or age, unless based upon a bona <br /> <br />fide <br /> <br />occupational <br /> <br />qualification <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />California Fair Employment and Housing Act. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Permittee <br /> <br />agrees <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />indemnify, <br /> <br />defend, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />hold <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />Council, <br /> <br />boards, <br /> <br />commissioners, <br /> <br />officers, <br /> <br />agents, <br /> <br />and employees harmless from any and <br /> <br />3 <br />
