<br />Mileage: Contract Employee is eligible for mileage reimbursement at the prevailing IRS <br />rate ($0.31) for use of personal vehicle on City business. <br /> <br />Recoanized Holidays: Contract Employee is entitled to twelve (12) paid holidays and one <br />(1) 'administrative holiday' per Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated by this <br />reference. <br /> <br />Bereavement Leave: Contract Employee may be absent with pay up to three (3) <br />consecutive wor1t days (four (4) days if travel requires over 300 miles) available upon <br />commencement of employment because of a death on Contract Employee's immediate <br />family. <br /> <br />Sick Leave: Contract Employee will accrue sick leave at the rate of 3.693 hours per <br />payroll period (12 days per year). <br /> <br />Personal Business Leave: Contract Employee will receive two (2) paid personal business <br />leave day per year and it shall be available after six (6) months of service, and is deducted <br />from sick leave. <br /> <br />Vacation Leave: Contract Employee will accrue vacation leave at the rate of 4.615 hours <br />per payroll period (3 weeks per year). <br /> <br />Medical Insurance: The City shall pay the monthly premium to continue Contract <br />Employee's current plan for medical insurance borne by present employer, at a maximum <br />rate of $413.00 per month. <br /> <br />Dental Insurance: Contract Employee has elected to receive dental insurance through the <br />City's program. The monthly cost of approximately $67.00 shall be borne by Contract <br />Employee in the form of a payroll deduction for the duration of this contract. <br /> <br />Vision Insurance: Contract Employee has elected to receive vision insurance through the <br />City's program. The monthly cost of approximately $24.00 shall be borne by Contract <br />Employee in the form of a payroll deduction for the duration of this contract. <br /> <br />Life Insurance: Contract Employee has elected to receive life insurance through the City's <br />program. The monthly cost of approximately $21.00 shall be borne by Contract Employee <br />in the form of a payroll deduction for the duration of this contract. <br /> <br />Cost of Livinç Salary Adjustment: Contract Employee will be eligible for a cost of living <br />salary adjustment at the end of the Contract, should it be renewed upon mutual agreement. <br /> <br />Merit Salary Increase: Contract Employee will be eligible for a merit salary increase at the <br />end of the Contract, should it be renewed upon mutual agreement. <br /> <br />pERS Retirement: Contract Employee is eligible to participate in the California Public <br />Employees Retirement System (2% at 60 plan) with the City paying both the employee and <br />employer contribution at date of hire. <br /> <br />4. Term <br />The term of this Agreement shall commence on March 18, 1996, and shall expire on March 17, 1997, <br />unless this Agreement is sooner terminated. <br /> <br />5. Termination <br />Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause upon giving the other party not less than two <br />(2) weeks prior written notice.
