<br />notice of termination; provided, however, if such effective date is not set forth in the <br /> <br />notice of termination, then <br /> <br />in that event the effective date of termination shall be thirty (30) days after delivery or <br /> <br />mailing of said notice. Notices of termination to be given hereunder shall be given <br /> <br />personally, or by mailing thereof in the United States mail, postage prepaid, and <br /> <br />addressed, in the case of Authority, to: <br /> <br />Fire Chief, South County Fire Protection Authority, 600 Elm Street, San <br /> <br />Carlos, Ca 94070; <br /> <br />in the case of City, to: <br /> <br />City Manager, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, Ca <br /> <br />94062; <br /> <br />and in the case of the District, to: <br /> <br />Fire Chief, Woodside Fire Protection District, 3111 Woodside Road, <br /> <br />Woodside, Ca 94062. <br /> <br />13, Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of <br /> <br />California and any suit or action initiated by either party shall be brought in the County of <br /> <br />San Mateo, California. In the event of litigation between the parties hereto to enforce any <br /> <br />provision of the Agreement, the unsuccessful party will pay the reasonable expenses of <br /> <br />litigation of the successful party. <br /> <br />14. Paragraph Headings. Paragraph heading as used herein are for <br /> <br />convenience, only, and shall not be deemed to modify, amend, or in any way change the <br /> <br />meaning of the content of the respective paragraphs to which they pertain. <br /> <br />5 <br />
