Entered into an agreement with the City of Redwood City for the provision of sewer <br />service by the District for properties within the corporate limits of Redwood City, <br />but adjacent to District owned and operated facilities. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Set 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in your Chambers, as the time and place of <br />a public hearing to consider the annexation ofthe Lands of Evans to the District. <br /> <br />History <br />Darin J. Evans and Tamara A. Evans, current owners ofthe property located within <br />Redwood City at 653 East View Way and identified by Assessor's Parcel Number 068-120- <br />270, have requested that their property be annexed to the District for the purpose of receiving <br />sewer servIce. <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City/District Transmission Agreement requires properties within the <br />City that will be served by the District, to be annexed to the District. <br /> <br />A public hearing to consider an annexation to the District is required pursuant to Section <br />4860 et seq. of the Health and Safety Code. <br /> <br />Discussion <br />The public hearing to consider the proposed annexation has been properly noticed and the <br />appropriate description prepared. . <br /> <br />A resolution and agreement have been approved as to form by County Counsel and the City <br />has consented to the proposed annexation and has executed Supplemental Agreement No. 35 <br />to the Transmission Agreement. <br /> <br />The public hearing to consider the proposed annexation has been properly noticed and the <br />appropriate description prepared. <br /> <br />The District is able to provide sewer service to the property. Therefore, we are <br />recommending that the annexation be approved. <br />
