Entered into an agreement with the City of Redwood City for the provision of sewer service by the District for properties within the corporate limits of Redwood City, but adjacent to District owned and operated facilities. 2. Set 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in your Chambers, as the time and place of a public hearing to consider the annexation ofthe Lands of Evans to the District. History Darin J. Evans and Tamara A. Evans, current owners ofthe property located within Redwood City at 653 East View Way and identified by Assessor's Parcel Number 068-120- 270, have requested that their property be annexed to the District for the purpose of receiving sewer servIce. The City of Redwood City/District Transmission Agreement requires properties within the City that will be served by the District, to be annexed to the District. A public hearing to consider an annexation to the District is required pursuant to Section 4860 et seq. of the Health and Safety Code. Discussion The public hearing to consider the proposed annexation has been properly noticed and the appropriate description prepared. . A resolution and agreement have been approved as to form by County Counsel and the City has consented to the proposed annexation and has executed Supplemental Agreement No. 35 to the Transmission Agreement. The public hearing to consider the proposed annexation has been properly noticed and the appropriate description prepared. The District is able to provide sewer service to the property. Therefore, we are recommending that the annexation be approved.
