<br />CITY COUNCIL OPTIONS: <br /> <br />1) To Approve the Project: <br /> <br />Deny the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Amend the <br />General Plan Land Use Map; Amend the Zoning Ordinance to create a new "R-I-MD" <br />Zoning District; Amend the Zoning Map to rezone the site to "R-1-MD"; Rescind the <br />Parking Easement by a 5/7ths vote; and Deny the appeal of the Tentative Map and <br />Planned Development Permit; (Staff recommendation) <br /> <br />2) To Deny the Project: <br /> <br />Uphold the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Deny the <br />General Plan, Zoning Text, and Zoning Map Amendments; Uphold the appeal of the <br />Tentative Map and Planned Development Permit; No action would be needed on the <br />parking easement; <br /> <br />3) To Amend the Project: <br /> <br />Deny the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Approve the <br />General Plan and Zoning Map Amendments; Rescind the parking easement by a 5/7ths <br />vote; Uphold the appeal of the Planned Development Permit and Tentative Map <br />requesting that the applicant redesign the project to address any of Council's concerns; <br />and Amend the Zoning Text Amendment accordingly. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Award of Contract for the Jefferson Avenue Underpass Project to Dillingham <br />Construction N.A. Inc, for $8,414,398.; <br /> <br />1) RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE JEFFERSON AVENUE UNDERPASS <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS; <br /> <br />C. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Amendment of Redwood City Code Section 20.95 - Enforcement of Abandoned Vehicles- <br />Authorizing the towing of vehicles 72 hours after a warning notice has been placed on the <br />vehicle; <br /> <br />1) APPROVE ORDINANCE FOR FIRST READING; <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.95 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO REMOV AL OF VEHICLES PARKED IN EXCESS OF <br />SEVENTY-TWO HOURS <br /> <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />MAY 12, 1997 <br />PAGE 4 <br />
