CITY COUNCIL OPTIONS: 1) To Approve the Project: Deny the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Amend the General Plan Land Use Map; Amend the Zoning Ordinance to create a new "R-I-MD" Zoning District; Amend the Zoning Map to rezone the site to "R-1-MD"; Rescind the Parking Easement by a 5/7ths vote; and Deny the appeal of the Tentative Map and Planned Development Permit; (Staff recommendation) 2) To Deny the Project: Uphold the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Deny the General Plan, Zoning Text, and Zoning Map Amendments; Uphold the appeal of the Tentative Map and Planned Development Permit; No action would be needed on the parking easement; 3) To Amend the Project: Deny the appeal of the Certification of the Environmental Assessment; Approve the General Plan and Zoning Map Amendments; Rescind the parking easement by a 5/7ths vote; Uphold the appeal of the Planned Development Permit and Tentative Map requesting that the applicant redesign the project to address any of Council's concerns; and Amend the Zoning Text Amendment accordingly. Inc, for $8,414,398.; 1) RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE JEFFERSON AVENUE UNDERPASS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS; C. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE Amendment of Redwood City Code Section 20.95 - Enforcement of Abandoned Vehicles- Authorizing the towing of vehicles 72 hours after a warning notice has been placed on the vehicle; 1) APPROVE ORDINANCE FOR FIRST READING; ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.95 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO REMOV AL OF VEHICLES PARKED IN EXCESS OF SEVENTY-TWO HOURS REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA MAY 12, 1997 PAGE 4
