<br />The appeals are as follows: <br /> <br />APPEAL NO.1: Appeals by Martin Kampf and Melanie Thompson of the Planning <br />Commission's decision to certify the Environmental Assessment (Negative Declaration.) <br /> <br />APPEAL NO.2: Appeal by Ronald Vane of the Planning Commission's approval of a <br />Tentative map and Planned Development Permit. <br /> <br />In addition to the above action, the City Council will hold public hearings on the following <br />items in accordance with Redwood City Code Sections 18.65 (General Plan) and Zoning <br />Ordinance Article 41. Action will be deferred to the May 12, 1997 regular Council <br />meeting: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ofIntention of the Planning commission for a General Plan Amendment to <br />change the land use designation of 2.1 acres from Neighborhood Commercial/Office to <br />Medium Density Residential; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION of Intention to amend the zoning Ordinance to create a Single-Family- <br />Medium Density Residential designation (SF-MD) that would establish standards to allow <br />for single-family detached residences on smaller lots and at higher densities than is <br />currently permitted for single-family residences; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION of Intention to rezone the site from "CN" (Neighborhood Commercial) <br />District to the above residential zone "SF-MD" (Single-Family Residential-Medium <br />Density) District. <br /> <br />1. Staff report: <br /> <br />2. Open public hearings; <br /> <br />3. Hear appellants and other public comments; <br /> <br />4. Close public hearings; <br /> <br />5. Council action; <br /> <br />Council will not take action on this matter at this meeting. However, the Council may <br />conclude the public hearing process.
