However I one hoop is missing. In response to <br />Director Griffithsl inquiry about the Easter Egg Hunt, Commissioner Slusser <br />replied that the Park looked fantastic and there were approx;rnately325 <br />participants. The only unfavorable comment was that there were several <br />very wet spots in the grass~ (It was noted that it had rained the two <br />previous days.) <br /> <br />Commissioner Davis stated that a friend who had moved here recently from <br />out of state complimented the condition of Stafford Park and requested <br />that a basketball hoop be installed. <br /> <br />There was a di scussi on regard; ng the Clean-up Day at Union Cemetery_,. <br />scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 1990. Commissioner Swope said ,that she <br />had received compliments for the condition of the Cemetery to be directed <br />to the Department of Parks and Recreation. Director Griffiths said that <br />the Clean-up day was to pull weeds, rake and generally get the Cemetery <br />spruced up for Memorial Day. He also stated that there will be a BFI truck <br />there to haul away the debris that day. Commissioner Swope mentioned that <br />she had put together the information for her guided tour. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m. to be reconvened on Wednesday, <br />April 23, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Activities Building, 1400 <br />Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />
